What is the Midnight Show?

Every Saturday night, The Midnight Show performs a show at…midnight! We try to keep it simple like that, as we know you've had a lot to drink (both that night and as you read this).

The show itself is called "Cock 'n' Toast" (which was the name of the group, but we changed it 'cause it's hard to advertise our group with the word "Toast" in the name). It's an all improv show (unless we can tear ourselves away from the Xbox/harmonicas/county fair long enough to write something) and it is uncensored. When I say "uncensored", I don't just mean "blue', or "dirty", or "offensive". I also mean "foul", "abrasive", and "unwholesome". Just kidding. Kind of. Actually, the idea is that we can do whatever we want. It doesn't have to be crude, but it will be uninhibited, so be prepared for whatever you think that means, and then some.

The show is an hour long and starts with a brief welcome, and then we jump right into the improv. We do mostly short-form improv that relies heavily on suggestions we get from you guys and gals, so bring your ideas pouch, as we come to you often. Our games/scenes/blathering will involve/revolve around those suggestions. It's always a lot of fun. We also do some long-form-esque scenes, which are also a blast.

After the hour is up, there is usually an hour left of bar time, so we encourage those of you who are of age to join us after the show in a celebratory drink. And it doesn't have to be the show that we celebrate. It could be your birthday, bachelorette party, or maybe we are toasting the fact that you finally got that DUI off your record. In any event, hang out with us and talk to us, because we are desperate for attention.

A word to the wise-ass: If you think that your ex-girlfriend that you cheated on would like you to call her at 2:30AM, or if you are convinced that you and you pals should quit your jobs and start a business (any business), you are too drunk. And if you are too drunk, maybe you oughta just sit this week's show out. No worries, dude. We're here every Saturday. It's a lot more fun for you, us, and the rest of the audience if you can see the show without having to close one eye, and you'll be respected for hanging back at the bar, sippin' that White Russian, rather than in the show, scream-slurring the suggestion " Barbie Elephant!" during a scene. Cool? Cool.
